Apply to the Envisions Project Scholarship!

Eligibility Requirements

  • Current Senior at San Miguel High School planning to graduate May 2022
  • Identify as Hispanic/Latino(a) and/or Black/African American (if you represent more than one community, one of them must be the previously stated)
  • Committed to attending a 4-year college institution outside the state of Arizona post graduation 
  • Minimum 3.5 Cumulative GPA 
  • Demonstrate leadership experience through community involvement and/or professional associations

Application Components

All application materials must be submitted through our online application found here by April 14, 2022 at midnight.

  • Most current transcripts (official or unofficial)
  • Official acceptance letter to 4-year out-of-state institution planning to attend
  • 1 short essay (400 words each)
  • 1 college personal statement (500 words)
  • Minimum 1 letter of recommendation (2 is optional) from teachers, student club advisors/leaders, and/or community leaders 
  • Professional Resume


Please note, after we review these initial application submissions we will ask top candidates to move to the next round and fulfill a 15-20 minute phone screen interview before selecting the final (2) scholarship winners. Phone screens will be conducted in early May for the selected candidates.

Application Deadline: Wednesday, April 14th, 2022

College Decision Day: May 1st

Phone Screen Interviews:  April 25th - 29th

Announce Winners: May 5th

Award Scholarship at Senior Parent Night: May 6th

Deadline Provide enrollment verification: Sept. 2nd

Enrollment in a 12-month mentorship program
