• Official acceptance letter to the 4-year out-of-state institution you are planning to attend
• 1 short essay (400 words each)
• 1 college personal statement (500 words)
• Minimum 1 letter of recommendation (2 is optional) from teachers, student club advisors/leaders, and/or community leaders 
• Professional Resume

• Current Senior at San Miguel High School planning to graduate May 2026
• Identify as First Generation and/or Low Income (FGLI) (parents did not earn a degree from a 4-year college)
• Committed to attending a 4-year college institution outside the state of Arizona post graduation 
• Minimum 3.5 Cumulative GPA 
• Demonstrate leadership experience through community involvement and/or professional associations
• Submit complete application by Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11:59pm MST

1) Receive a minimum of $2,000-3,000 (could be more!) in scholarships to help with out-of-state college expenses before starting the academic year

2) Enrollment in a 12-month mentorship program

• One-on-one mentorship to help incoming college freshmen maximize their first year of college, gain career guidance, and have a consistent support system of people who also experienced this new life transition.
